1. Policy Scope

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all financial transactions between Pune Culture and its partners, advertisers, and users. It applies to:
- Paid promotional listing packages for PGs, Hostels, and Cafes.
- Any future premium subscription tiers or feature unlocks.
- Sponsored editorial content and banner advertising placements.
This policy does not apply to third-party transactions conducted via links on Pune Culture (e.g., booking via external travel portals).
2. Free Platform Services

The overwhelming majority of Pune Culture's content — including all editorial chronicles, PG search, neighborhood guides, trekking routes, and bus maps — is provided entirely free of charge. No payment is required to access these services, and therefore no refund policy applies to their usage. Our free services carry no contractual billing obligations.
3. Partner Listing Refunds

Business partners (PG Owners, Cafe Owners, Hostel Managers) who pay for promotional placements on Pune Culture are entitled to the following:
- Full Refund: Requested within 48 hours of payment, before the listing has been activated or published on the platform.
- Partial Refund (50%): Requested within 7 days of payment, where the listing has been published but no leads have been generated.
- No Refund: After 7 days from the payment date, or where the partner has received verified lead inquiries via the platform.
5. Refund Eligibility

A refund will be approved if all of the following conditions are met:
- The refund request is submitted within the applicable window (as per Section 3 or 4).
- The payment was made directly to Pune Culture and not through a third-party reseller.
- The service purchased has not been fully delivered or consumed.
Refund requests will be rejected if:
- The request is submitted after the applicable window has elapsed.
- The partner account is found to have violated our Terms of Service.
- The listing has been live and generating inquiries for more than 7 days.
6. Refund Request Process

To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: Refund Request — [Your Business Name].
- Include your payment receipt number or transaction ID, the date of payment, and the reason for your request.
- Attach any supporting documentation if the refund is due to a technical error on our part.
We will acknowledge your request within 48 business hours and notify you of the outcome within 5 working days.
7. Processing Timeline

Upon approval of your refund request:
- UPI / Net Banking: Refunded within 3–5 business days to the original payment source.
- Credit / Debit Card: Refunded within 5–10 business days, subject to your bank's processing cycle.
- Bank Transfer: Refunded within 7–10 business days. Please provide accurate account details at the time of request.
Pune Culture does not charge any processing fees for approved refunds.
8. Non-Refundable Services

The following are explicitly excluded from our refund policy:
- Customised editorial content or sponsored articles that have been published.
- Social media promotion packages where delivery has commenced.
- Revenue generated by a partner through leads before cancellation.
- Administrative fees or setup charges, where separately disclosed.
9. Cancellation

Partners may cancel their active listing or service at any time by notifying us at [email protected]. However, cancellation does not automatically entitle the partner to a refund — the refund eligibility criteria in Section 5 must still be met. Upon cancellation:
- The listing will be removed from the platform within 2 business days.
- Any remaining listing period will not be prorated unless agreed upon in writing.
10. Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with a refund decision made by Pune Culture, you may escalate the matter by replying to your original refund thread and requesting a review. Unresolved disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Civil Courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India. We encourage all partners to resolve disputes amicably before pursuing legal remedies.
11. Policy Amendments

Pune Culture reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of paid services after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend partners review this page periodically.
